FAQs
Agape Mobile Veterinary Care provides concierge veterinary services in Spring, Klein, Tomball, and The Woodlands area in Texas. If you desire unhurried visits, high quality preventive care, state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities, and superior communication about the choices and care for your pet in the comfort and convenience of your own home, Agape Mobile Veterinary Care may be the perfect fit for you. We will schedule appointments to allow for diagnostics and treatment to occur in the scheduled visit, when possible, and will not rush our conversation with you so that you feel comfortable with any diagnosis or plans made for the wellness of your pet.
We realize this level of service may not be desired by all pet owners. If you find yourself leaning toward ensuring care for your pet with annual vaccines, maybe even at a low-cost vaccine clinic, or you are less interested in more advanced preventive and diagnostic interventions, Agape Mobile Veterinary Care may not be the best fit for you.
To deliver the level of care we will bring to your door, you may find the cost of the initial exam to be higher than what you could experience elsewhere. However, we do expect the cost of our veterinary services to be comparable to other local veterinary facilities. To avoid surprises, our communication-focused service includes an estimate of the anticipated costs for your visit* in our Pre-Visit Treatment Plan.
*Please know that a final estimate can only be made after a physical exam is completed and final cost of the visit may differ from the initial estimate based on the results of this exam and any agreed diagnostics.
Does my pet need to see the vet?
Pets, similar to people, should see their doctor twice a year to provide the highest quality of care and maintain a high level of their wellbeing. Bi-annual exams including wellness checks, a comprehensive exam, blood work (annually), delivery of preventative medication (such as heartworm or flea prevention), discussion around any concerns or questions, and anticipatory conversations related to the stage of life of your pet (for example, it may be time to begin dental cleanings, or start your pet on adult or senior diet).

Pets should also see the vet if they are experiencing:
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Itching
- Lethargy
- Pain*
- Coughing
*Since your pet can not tell you they are hurting, you will probably notice a change in behavior or habits that may indicate they are in pain. A few common indicators your pet may be in pain include whining, panting, difficulty moving, lost interest in favorite toys or eating, to name a few.
